Getting started with Fast Mail Tracker

Getting started

Welcome to Fast Mail Tracker. This guide takes you from a fresh install to your first tracked email, so you can start seeing who opens what without wading through settings.

The one-minute setup

  • Install the browser extension and pin it next to your address bar.
  • Open Gmail and sign in when prompted. Fast Mail Tracker connects to the inbox you already use.
  • Compose an email as you normally would. Tracking is on by default; you'll see the signal marker attach to the thread.

That's the whole setup. There's no separate inbox to learn and nothing your recipient has to install. The tracking is invisible on their side.

Reading your first signal

Send a tracked email and watch the signal marker beside the thread. It starts as a grey send arrow (sent), becomes a red eye the moment the email is opened, a click cursor when a link is followed, and turns gold when the recipient replies. Hover the marker any time for the full open-and-click timeline.

One glance at the ramp tells you where a thread stands: no report to open, no tab to switch to.

Where to go next

Once you're comfortable with a single tracked email, explore mail merge to personalize a whole list at once, and follow-up reminders to make sure no warm thread slips away. Each is covered in its own help article.
